Adventure

We do this field trip with our"mommy and me" class every year. We ride the Metrolink to downtown Los Angeles and then hop on the Subway. We go to Grand Central Market which is very interesting, you almost feel like your in another country. Then we head over to California Plaza (I think that is what its called) and then to Alvera St. which is little Mexico. It's a lot of fun and a lot of culture!

What a perfect day! The weather was great and the lines were not bad at all. It really was the happiest day. Last time we went Josh was afraid of Dumbo. Here we are just getting on Space Mountain. He did really good but I was yelling and screaming and that scared him. I guess he was trying to tell me to stop but I couldn't hear him. I was trying to tell him that screaming made it more fun. Guess he didn't hear me either.

Another Day in the Wash

This time I took all the kids plus our 2 dogs. It was such a beautiful day, we wanted to stay forever but we all know forever is a long time.......so we had to come home. Plus it was time for Ben's nap!

Today Josh and I had so much fun. It's rare that I get to spend one on one time with Josh. I have been asking my mother in law to babysit Jade and Ben so Josh and I could have a date but she is always busy. Today we were lucky, she finally had time, YEAH!!!!.

We went to the little league fields were Josh will play T-Ball. It was closed so we had it all to ourselves. It's tucked away in the canyon so it's so beautiful with the mountains all around you. It was a rainy day today but that added to our fun. We hiked around a little, played catch with his football, and kicked his soccer ball back and forth. He has been wanting to play in the water so we went over to the wash, it's just across the street. He played in the water rain and all. Then we went home and changed into dry warm cloths. He waited for me in the car while I ran in to get the cloths. When I came back out he said to me, "Thank you mom for this special day, it's the best day ever, even better than playing with my friends". Then we went to Cold Stones for ice cream and then had In-n-out burger. What a day, what a lucky mom I am. I don't know who it made more happy him or I. There is nothing like making someone you love happy!
